Ex Voto - sold out
Ex Voto is a collection of nine pieces for solo piano, violin, and cello. The title “ex voto” comes from the Latin ex voto suscepto — "from the vow made." It is an offering given in gratitude for a prayer answered or a wish granted. The music of Ex Voto is more personal and exposed than anything else that I have written. The full album is available on Catalog.

Whirl — String quartet for Async Art
Music - Cristina Spinei
Art - James Fox
I composed this string quartet specifically for Async Art, an NFT platform that allows artists to create work in layers and with variants. Before I began writing this piece I had to understand how to make layers and variants work in a new composition. I decided that I wanted each line of the string quartet to be able to stand on its own as a solo. I also wanted listeners to be able to combine any of the individual parts into different duets and trios.
Each individual part has three variants. Any variant can be mixed and matched with any number of instruments. There are 256 permutations of Whirl!

Prelude
Orchestral NFT
Prelude is the first new work for full orchestra on the blockchain. I composed this piece for the Gateway Chamber Orchestra and conductor Gregory Wolynec. I chose the title Prelude because I see this project as an introduction to a better system for musicians and composers to control their own work.

Digital soundscape
My first NFT! I reached out to Vans Design back in the Fall of 2020 when I first became fascinated with NFTs. I loved Vans Design’s mesmerizing use of color and the holographic quality to his work. The waves of color are directly tied to the music, controlled by both the velocity and dynamics of the notes.
